Topics in Global Environmental Humanitie

Course Description

Students will engage in targeted study of topics in global environmental humanities, with broad and impactful implications for regenerative futures. We will analyze global literature, film, history, philosophy, religion/spirituality, and arts and design to engage students in a transdisciplinary understanding of the perspectives that the field of environmental humanities can bring to topics of urgency, meaning, and ultimately healing in the world. The course will explore ways transdisciplinary humanities have been engaged globally to connect ourselves to the world around us, as means to “see” problems, express new perspectives, and envision new ways of being.
