Course Description
This core course in the Regenerative Design MA program explores the intersection of cultural narratives, socio-economic systems, and ecological design principles. This course equips students with the tools to critically analyze societal structures and visualize transformative change through design. Students will engage in reflective and active processes to identify and challenge dominant socio-cultural systems, while exploring emerging alternatives rooted in regenerative design thinking. The course encourages participants to integrate systems thinking, complexity theory, and social ecology frameworks to develop innovative, real-world solutions that promote ecological resilience and social equity.By the end of the course, participants will be able to conceptualize and implement creative design strategies that foster cultural, social, and ecological regeneration, preparing them to become leaders in the transition to a more equitable and resilient society.
